In case you haven’t noticed, there are a lot of exciting activities going on at Veeam these days, and we don’t intend on slowing down anytime soon! Check out this rundown:
Something awesome is coming!
If you’ve been to Veeam.com recently, you probably already know that something mysterious is up! I can’t say just yet what it will be, but I can say it’s awesome and you surely won’t want to miss it.
The countdown clock is now posted on Veeam.com, where you can sign up to be among the first to find out exactly what’s in store for the virtualization community on June 4.
Veeam ONE version 6
Did you catch this? WOW! We released Veeam ONE version 6 with a slew of improvements. Most notably, we now include Hyper-V support in our real-time monitoring and reporting solution for virtualization environments. Version 6 of Veeam ONE is also a unified installation and database for the product features, which previously required separate installations.
A revamped user interface is part of the update, as well. Among my favorite Veeam ONE v6 features is the unified collector for the monitoring, reporting and business categorization features. For vSphere environments, this feature can reduce the overall frequency of collection calls against vCenter.
There are a number of improvements to the interface, and virtualization administrators can easily view both vSphere and Hyper-V in the same console as shown below:
It gets better! In addition to Veeam ONE, there still is a free edition of Veeam ONE. Note: Like the previous free editions, there are limitations on features and retention with the free edition.
Free Management Pack licenses
Hopefully, you caught the note from MMS about the free 10-Pack of licenses to monitor VMware environments with System Center Operations Manager. Chris Henley wrote up a great blog post on this and you can download free software now!
