There&#8217;s a software solution called <a title="HyperIP from NetEx" href="http://www.netex.com/products/hyperip" target="_blank">HyperIP</a> from <a title="NetEx Software" href="http://www.netex.com" target="_blank">NetEx</a> that makes vMotion of VM&#8217;s possible over WAN connections. &#8220;Too good to be true&#8221; you say? Well, I&#8217;ve seen it and we&#8217;ve also done testing ourselves and with some of our partners and not only is vMotion possible, but if you&#8217;re using Veeam Backup &amp; Replication you can get a significant performance increase in copying data over slow or high-latency connections. If you&#8217;re considering &#8220;the cloud&#8221; you really should check out HyperIP combined with Veeam Backup &amp; Replication.</p>
