There's a software solution called <a title="HyperIP from NetEx" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.netex.com/products/hyperip" target="_blank">HyperIP</a> from <a rel="nofollow" title="NetEx Software" href="http://www.netex.com" target="_blank">NetEx</a> that makes vMotion of VM's possible over WAN connections. "Too good to be true" you say? Well, I've seen it and we've also done testing ourselves and with some of our partners and not only is vMotion possible, but if you're using Veeam Backup &amp; Replication you can get a significant performance increase in copying data over slow or high-latency connections. If you're considering "the cloud" you really should check out HyperIP combined with Veeam Backup &amp; Replication.</p>
