Customer Reference Specialist

The Customer Reference Specialist is responsible for coordinating reference activities, and maintaining information in the customer reference database. This position will focus primarily on managing incoming suggestions for success stories. This position will also be responsible for Customer Reference and Product Marketing Managers documentation management.
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Languages, Business Administration or related area (a combination of education and experience will be considered)
• 4- 8 years of experience in marketing or inside sales
•Understanding of the roles played by alliance partners, distributors, LARs, etc. in a channel sales structure is preferred
•Project management experience is a plus
•Must be proficient with the MS Office packages
•Superb customer service skills are required
•Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
•Must have exceptional organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize and multi-task
•Soft persuasive selling skills
•Critical thinking and decision making skills for efficient planning
•High-energy, motivated self-starter that is able to work in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to adapt to changes quickly
•Strong verbal and written command of Spanish language is desired
•Knowledge of European foreign languages on the advanced level is a plus
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Identifying good candidates for various reference activities
•Scheduling and coordinating customer/partner interviews for success stories or other reference activities, such as participation in videos, webinars, and publications
•Editing and providing feedback of written reference collateral
•Setting accurate and timely follow up activities to ensure; receipt of signed agreements, review and approval of materials, receipt of logos and other related images, submission to creative and web team for development of materials and publishing
•Maintain accurate information in Customer Reference Database
•Assist with tracking and reporting for reference activities and results
•Obtaining information from regional resources to maintain up-to-date information on existing and generation of new references
•Product Marketing point of contact for task requests to Creative Team
•Posting all success stories and English language Product Marketing collateral to web sites
•Creating and maintaining up-to-date collateral in Salesforce
•Special projects as assigned
