Product Marketing Manager, Alliances

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for marketing Veeam products with and through key alliance partners.


EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, Computer Science, Business Administration or Journalism. (A combination of education and experience will be considered.)
3-5 years of product marketing experience in a business-to-business (B2B) software company.
Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and market needs and translate into effective messages for business and technical audiences.
Collaboration with product management and business development leads with key partner alliances to develop product positioning, product collateral, presentations, white papers, and other sales and marketing materials.
Product marketing experience with a channel-driven business model is required.
Engagement with sales, channel partners and customers to collect feedback and requirements.
Successful execution of product launches and promotional campaigns, including defining plans, producing deliverables, coordinating resources, and measuring results.
Strong writing skills and extensive writing experience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with social media marketing and community development would be a plus.
Previous experience with Cisco, NetApp, and/or VMware will be strongly considered.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with product management and alliance business development leads to define product positioning, messaging, “marketecture” and core benefits for use in all communication about Veeam solutions in association with alliance partner offerings.
Produce B2B communication materials for channel partners and end users, creating compelling and informative content for different alliance partner and Veeam audiences. This content will take the form of datasheets, presentations, white papers, technical briefs, web pages, scripts, articles, sales aids and similar marketing documents.
Develop and execute alliance messaging and promotional plan, working closely with alliance business development leads.
Collaborate with graphic designers to create effective diagrams and layouts.
Assist the PR team with press releases, award entries, directory entries and customer case studies.
Work with external resources and contractors as needed.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIP AND ACCOUNTABILITY
This position reports to the Senior Product Marketing Director.
