Director, Global Sales Training and Enablement

The Director, Global Sales Training and Enablement will be responsible for the Global Sales Enablement Program for sales teams at Veeam and Veeam’s channel partners. This role will make a key contribution to the growth of the business by advancing the sales team’s skills, knowledge and capabilities in the areas of the Veeam sales process and methodology, products and competitors.
Working within the global Marketing department with key stakeholders in the sales organization, this person will design and deliver Global Sales Enablement initiatives by bringing key skills in blended learning program/curriculum design, facilitation, learning management, project management as well as proven experience in sales tactics and methods from a successful career in sales.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Business. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
•Must have 7 years of curriculum development, sales enablement and training experience with at least 3 years of management experience building and delivering content in high tech. Software sales training and enablement is preferred.
•Must have a track record in B2B sales for at least 3 years
•Fluent in English both speaking and writing, strong skills in a second and third European language preferred.
•Experience in managing a training organization of at least 10 people
•Experience training a global workforce in a fast pace, high growth and culturally diverse environment
•Experience administering, creating and hosting classroom and e-learning programs and knowledge of content development and testing/survey tools
•Ability to apply structured problem solving (taking a large, complex problem and breaking it down into components, involve others as needed, drive resolution)
•Ability to set vision and drive tactical execution; willing to roll-up the sleeves to complete projects in an environment with competing deadlines

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Structure a companywide training strategy that will work to train new and existing sales team members as well as set the strategy and process for training our channel partners more efficiently as to Veeam’s sales process, tactics, soft skills, on products, competitors, etc.
•Partners with sales teams to identify gaps in knowledge base; develops training to address identified needs in an effort to equip employees with necessary tools to meet their sales goals.
•Supports Product Marketing and sales teams in coordinating new product launches and rollouts and provides training as needed.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
•Program management to successfully manage multiple complex blended learning projects simultaneously,
•Development and delivery of sales training programs for new hires and on-going development including e-learning, workshop, role plays/simulations, certification, job aids and on the job learning activities.
•Initiates and works with a global task force to solicit feedback and ensure programs are relevant and on target. Arranges for internal pilot group testing of new courses.
•Leads quarterly operational reviews for the learning organization. Analyze dashboards, create presentation decks and reporting for Sales Effectiveness programs and deliver to Veeam executives. Provide insight regarding the health of the organization, provide recommendations that will impact sales metrics, attrition, employee engagement etc.
•Manages eLearning project managers, technology experts who have experience creating, editing, synchronizing and/or recording both audio and video for eLearning courses.
•Leads a team of facilitators that share facilitation best practices and provides coaching and mentoring for the facilitation team.
•Ensures learning and performance objectives are appropriate to the audience and that the training materials meet the learning and performance objectives.
•Performs quality assurance checks on training courses that have been developed.
•Experience using eLearning tools to create interactive, web based training deliverables.
•Works on multiple projects concurrently, monitors activity, progress, and time related to project development.
•Selects and Manages LMS vendor, IT or software vendor to design and deliver web based courses and resolve any technical issue
•Works with subject matter experts to design and develop audience-appropriate, clear, and concise training content.
•Develops an effective document management process for: organizing and retraining e-learning project related source files; scheduling periodic courses reviews for any updates needed; scheduling the expiration of training courses, if appropriate; tracking documentation and version control of all revisions and updates, etc.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP AND ACCOUNTABILITY
This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.
