Saint-Petersburg, Russia, November 13, 2006 – Veeam™ Software, a provider of best-of-breed systems management solutions for virtual machines (VMs), today announced the release of Veeam Monitor for VMware 1.5 x64 edition. The new version allows to monitor VMware Server or VMware Workstation running on Windows 64-bit host system.
Veeam Monitor is the only tool that directly integrates with VMware Virtualization Layer to facilitate the deployment planning and performance troubleshooting of virtual machines (VMs) on VMware Server running on Windows platform. It can keep track of any guest operating system whether Windows, Linux or Solaris. It provides administrators with CPU, memory, disk, pagefile and I/O performance data per virtual machine.
Veeam Monitor is specially designed to monitor VMware Server and VMware Workstation. It takes into account virtualization specifics, and allows you to monitor all the resources that might contribute to the overall system performance or deployment planning. Thus, you can see VM resource usage in detail and pinpoint performance bottlenecks.
