Veeam Monitor 2.1 was optimized to considerably reduce time necessary to retrieve metrics. * ESX Server 3.5, VirtualCenter 2.5 compatibility. Download the latest Veeam Monitor from http://www.veeam.com/download_all.asp 2. Run the veeam_monitor_vi.exe setup file. 3. Follow wizard steps. Click "Start", and then click "Control Panel". 2. Click "Add or Remove Prorams" or "Programs and Features" Icon. 3. Scroll down to "Veeam Monitor For VMware Infrastructure 3 v2.1", click it, and then click "Change/Remove". STARTING If you perform full installation of Veeam Monitor and you start it for the first time, you are required to activate the license file. Browse to the license file (.lic) that was sent to you after registration to activate license. (see Licensing). License is not required if you install and start Veeam Monitor Client-only. Upon starting the program, the Options window will appear prompting you to specify your connection settings. For detailed instructions use Monitor 2.1 Getting Started Guide (See Technical Documentation References). LICENSING Veeam Monitor is licensed per socket for each Managed Server. Managed Server is defined as VMware ESX Server that is monitored, collected data from or otherwise managed by the software. "Socket" means a single, physical chip that houses no more than four (4) processor cores. The trial license key is sent to you after registering at http://www.veeam.com/download.asp?step=2&license_type=19, and is valid for 30 days from the moment of registration. To obtain a full license key for the desired number of "sockets", please refer to http://www.veeam.com/buy.asp. The full license includes a one-year maintenance plan. To renew your maintenance plan, please contact us at support@veeam.com Hint: Click the About button on the toolbar to view or change your currently installed license. If the license activation fails to appear, check whether Veeam Data Collector Service is running.
