Storage Capacity Report Overview
The Storage Capacity Report is essential for analysis, capacity planning and deployment of your datastores.
Important:
Available on activating the Full license. The trial version provides only a sample report.
To better cope with the dynamic growth of your VMware environment, you need to be effective in managing storage. Veeam Reporter Storage Capacity Report allows you to document, analyze and plan your storage capacity easily without time-consuming manual data gathering.
The Storage Capacity report assists you in documenting and analyzing your datastores capacity and utilization as well as controlling VM population over those datastores. It represents the information as a PivotTable for fast access to:
Statistics on datastore utilization and VM population.
The amount of disk space allocated for VMs on a separate datastore.
Virtual machines which logical disks are running out of free space.
Statistics on datastores utilization and VMs population (Datastores sheet).
The Datastores view of the Storage Capacity report provides the insight on the total capacity and utilization of specific types of datastores of specific type across your datacenters. It helps you see in a glance whether your storage needs to be extended.
Also the report provides you with the number of Virtual Machines that reside on each datastore to help you stay compliant with your organization's policies and/or other regulations.
