What is Veeam Availability Console for the Enterprise?

Veeam® Availability Console for the Enterprise is a cloud-enabled platform for distributed, hybrid cloud multi-tenant enterprise environments. By leveraging the Veeam Cloud Connect framework, this management console will:

  • Ensure uptime across your distributed enterprise by easily deploying and managing Veeam-powered backup and disaster recovery (DR) services to protect distributed datacenters, remote and branch offices (ROBO), and mobile users
  • Reduce operational complexity by centralizing the management of your Veeam data protection infrastructure, services and agents — virtual, physical or cloud based — into a single web UI
  • Enhance productivity through automation and integrations with comprehensive APIs, while ensuring SLAs with proactive monitoring and alerting of Veeam-powered Availability services

Veeam Availability Console for the Enterprise is designed for distributed enterprise environments who want to remotely manage and monitor their entire Veeam backup infrastructure from a centralized location.

Where can I deploy it?
Veeam Availability Console for the Enterprise can be deployed in your own private infrastructure. The public cloud is also a deployment option. 
Are there any requirements?
Veeam Availability Console for the Enterprise is designed for large, distributed enterprise businesses who have either a valid Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA) or VMware Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) number.
Which Veeam products can Veeam Availability Console for the Enterprise manage?
In its current version, Veeam Availability Console for the Enterprise can remotely manage and monitor Veeam Backup & Replication™ v9 U1 and above, as well as Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows 2.0. In Update 1, monitoring support for Veeam Agents managed by Veeam Backup & Replication — including Veeam Agent for Linux — is included. Full support for Veeam Agent for Linux is planned for 2018.
Is it integrated with any other Veeam products?
Veeam Availability Console for the Enterprise is a FREE stand-alone product that is tightly integrated with Veeam Cloud Connect for the Enterprise. Depending on the license type for Veeam Cloud Connect for the Enterprise, you can either remotely manage and monitor your Veeam-powered Availability services (free) or send backups and replicas to your cloud repository / host (paid).
Veeam Availability Console is able to integrate with any existing portals, third-party applications and workflows via RESTful API. It also integrates with the Swagger API framework, giving service providers an easy way to visualize, explore and interact with RESTful API.
