We’ve
all heard the phrase “the customer comes first,” and at Veeam, we live
and breathe this every day. The customer – no matter the size, location or
market – is at the center of everything we do, and we covet customer feedback
to ensure we can continually improve their experience. After all, you don’t get
to amass more than 400,000 customers unless you deliver an exceptional
experience.
I’m delighted that Veeam has been recognized as a 2021 Gartner Peer Insights Data Center Backup and Recovery Solutions Customers’ Choice vendor. It’s the fourth year in a row we received this distinction, and I am proud that Veeam continues to pave the way in terms of customer excellence. As of today’s date, Veeam received almost 900 Gartner Peer Insights (customer) reviews and secured a rating of 4.7 out of 5.
We
believe this is a phenomenal recognition in such a competitive industry. What
makes it even more impressive is that, according to Gartner, “The Gartner
Peer Insights Customers’ Choice is a recognition of vendors in this market by
verified end-user professionals.” To ensure fair evaluation, Gartner
maintains rigorous criteria for recognizing vendors with a high customer
satisfaction rate, so we believe this makes the recognition so much more
prestigious.
Over
the past year, every aspect of our lives has been turned upside down. Every organization
has had to innovate, continue to deliver on their commitment to key
stakeholders – internal and external – and adapt to a new virtual world. During
2020, Veeam had to do this as well, and we had to adapt to a new way of
delivering services, ensuring we continued to roll-out key, new solutions (such
as v10). When I read some of the reviews submitted, I felt an enormous sense of
pride in the way the team continued to exemplify Veeam’s core values and always
put the customer experience first. Here are just a few examples:

Jim has more than 25 years of experience in leading all facets of marketing. In his previous role as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Product & Solution Marketing for Veeam (he joined the company in 2017), Jim oversaw all aspects of product and alliance solutions marketing, plus competitive, research and sales acceleration. Prior to this, he was CMO at Intermedia, offering Unified Communications as a service to small businesses. He spent 16 years at Polycom in a variety of roles from Executive Vice President/CMO to leading product marketing and product management for the Voice division to Vice President/General Manager over a $200M business. Prior to Polycom, Jim served in several senior marketing roles with GTE (Verizon) wireless and Palm.
