The summer holidays are now officially over but at Veeam we had a very exciting and busy August.

The most important news is the release of Veeam Backup & Replication v7. We are very proud of the new version of our product and are overwhelmed by the positive reactions we received so far.

If you haven’t had the time to check it out, you can find all the information on our v7 landing page.

Also, check out this cool infographic that we made: v7 “by the numbers”

We also did some great webinars this month:

Rick Vanover presented on Advanced VM SQL Server Backup & Recovery and Chris Henley showed us Virtual Lab deliver confidence and flexibility to Hyper-V administrators.

Mike Resseler wrote a great whitepaper highlighting what’s new in Windows Server 2012 R2. You can download it now.

Our whiteboard Friday team also did a great webcast about taking the maximum from your backup storage infrastructure. If you missed this one, we highly recommend you check it out!

We also launched several white papers in July and we added two more in August.

Veeam was happy to sponsor the Unofficial VCP5-DCV and VCAP5-DCA Study Guides. This is a great community project from Jason Langer and Josh Coen. You can download your editions for free.

And last but not least, we had a very busy and exiting VMworld in San Francisco.

Anton Gostev and Doug Hazelman presented BCO5362 – Veeam Backup & Replication v7 Deep Dive and Rick Vanover presented STP1004 – Veeam Backup & Replication: 7 Designs for Success. Both of these will be updated and repeated in Barcelona, so be sure to register early!

The Veeam party was a big success and for those who were there or want to see what they missed, you can find some pictures at our Facebook page or Google+ page.

We were also lucky to win another award. This time we received the Virtualization Review VMworld Best of Breed Award in the category Best Backup, Data Protection. If you want to find out all of other awards, check out our awards page.

That’s it for this monthly content roundup but make sure to fasten your seatbelts because September promises to become another busy and exciting month with lots of new content expected.

And if you are at one of the events we participate in, make sure to come over and say Hi!
