Solution
To install Veeam Monitor on a Windows Server, follow the steps below:
1. Left double click on "veeam_monitor_5.exe (list item)" in "Program Manager"
2. Left click on "Next > (push button)" in "Setup - Veeam Monitor for VMware"
3. Left click on "I accept the agreement (radio button)" in "Setup - Veeam Monitor for VMware"
4. Left click on "Next > (push button)" in "Setup - Veeam Monitor for VMware"
5. Left click on "Next > (push button)" in "Setup - Veeam Monitor for VMware"
6. Keyboard input - Change the "SQLSERVER\INSTANCE" name to match your environment.
7. If you are not sure what to put in for step 6, use the SQL server computer name as the "SQLSERVER" and the name in the SQL service as the "INSTANCE" name. Example: When installing the SQL Server 2005 Express Edition the default service name is "SQL Server (VEEAM)" Where VEEAM is the instance name.
8. Left click on "Next > (push button)" in "Setup - Veeam Monitor for VMware"
9. Keyboard input - Input your Authentication to connect to SQL. Veeam Monitor requires DBO rights to create the database. Once Installed, you can change the access rights to "DB Reader" and "DB Writer" if you want to restrict the access. Otherwise there is not need to change it from DBO.
10. Left click on "Next > (push button)" in "Setup - Veeam Monitor for VMware"
11. Left click on "Next > (push button)" in "Setup - Veeam Monitor for VMware"
12. Left click on "Next > (push button)" in "Setup - Veeam Monitor for VMware"
13. Left click on "Install> (push button)" in "Setup - Veeam Monitor for VMware"
