General product family overview:

The solution allows customers to make DR and offsite tape shipping 100% automatic to increase security and eliminate human error. VTL emulates a physical tape library that attaches to the client systems by iSCSI or FC. The data written to the virtual tapes is stored on local storage and can also be tiered and replicated to public cloud storage according to user-defined retention policies. It can use internal capabilities to offload stored tapes to the following cloud storage: AWS S3, Glacier, Glacier Deep Archive, Azure Blob (hot, cool, archive), Backblaze B2, Wasabi storage. Supported object storage: any S3-capable object storage.
