Veeam® Management Pack™ provides app-to-metal management of VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V infrastructures and includes monitoring and reporting for Veeam Backup & Replication™ — all from the Microsoft System Center Operations Manager console.

Veeam Management Pack is offered in only the Enterprise Plus edition with a minimum purchase of 10 Sockets as either a Perpetual or Subscription license (which is licensed per-CPU Socket on hosts with VMs). A license is required for each occupied motherboard Socket as reported by the hypervisor API. The price is per CPU Socket and includes the first year of basic maintenance and support.

An in-place upgrade is supported from v8 or higher. For upgrades from prior versions, refer to the install guide. 

Go to the Veeam licensing portal to generate your new license key, which is required when you install any new version. Speak with your sales representative for assistance if you wish to upgrade from a previous vSphere license version to a Hyper-V version license.

No. The Hyper-V licenses you received were part of a limited-time promotion and cannot be exchanged for vSphere licenses. New vSphere licenses must be purchased.

Yes, you can upgrade the number of licenses in your environment you obtained during the promotion using the standard Hyper-V Enterprise Plus upgrade SKU. These licenses may still be upgraded at any time during or after the promotion ends.
