What is Veeam Management Pack (MP) for System Center?
Veeam® Management Pack™ provides app-to-metal management of Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere infrastructures and includes monitoring and reporting for Veeam Backup & Replication™— all from the Microsoft System Center Operations Manager console.
What does the 30-day trial include?

The 30-day trial gives you the full functionality of Veeam Management Pack Enterprise Plus Edition. After 30 days, some monitoring functionality will remain active for managing Veeam Backup & Replication. See the licensing FAQ below.

How is Veeam Management Pack licensed?
Veeam Management Pack is offered in only the Enterprise Plus edition with a minimum purchase of 10 Sockets as either a Perpetual or Subscription license (which is licensed per-CPU Socket on hosts with VMs). A license is required for each occupied motherboard Socket as reported by the hypervisor API. The price is per CPU Socket and includes the first year of basic maintenance and support.
Does Veeam offer an Enterprise edition for Veeam Management Pack?
No. The Enterprise edition is no longer available. If you have Enterprise licenses and wish to renew or purchase additional licenses, please contact the Veeam sales team.
Does Veeam offer a package offer for Veeam Management Pack and Veeam backup?
No. The package offer is no longer available. If you previously purchased licenses under the package offer and wish to renew or purchase additional licenses, please contact the Veeam sales team.
What is the FREE Veeam Management Pack for Veeam backup?
After the standard Veeam Management Pack 30-day-trial license expires, basic monitoring for only Veeam Backup & Replication will remain active. This FREE version is known as the Veeam Management Pack for Veeam backup. It is available at no charge and may be deployed in a production environment. Learn more here.

Can I upgrade an Enterprise license to an Enterprise Plus license?
Yes, please contact the Veeam sales team.
Which version of Veeam Management Pack should I be currently using to upgrade to version 8?
An in-place upgrade is supported from v6 or higher. For upgrades from prior versions, refer to the install guide.
When I upgrade from version 6.5 or 7, which edition of version 8 will I receive?
You will receive Veeam Management Pack Enterprise Plus edition. Speak to your sales representative if you wish to upgrade from a previous vSphere license version to a Veeam Management Pack v8 Hyper-V license.
How do I obtain a new Veeam Management Pack license key for my upgrade?
Go to the Veeam licensing portal to generate your new license key, which is required when you install version 8. Speak with your sales representative for assistance if you wish to upgrade from a previous vSphere license version to a version 8 Hyper-V license.
I received Hyper-V Enterprise licenses at no cost as part of a promotion. Can I exchange these Hyper-V licenses for vSphere licenses?
No. The Hyper-V licenses you received were part of a limited-time promotion and cannot be exchanged for vSphere licenses. New vSphere licenses must be purchased.
Can I upgrade my promotional, no-cost Hyper-V Enterprise licenses to Enterprise Plus?
Yes, you can upgrade the number of licenses in your environment you obtained during the promotion using the standard Hyper-V Enterprise Plus upgrade SKU. These licenses may still be upgraded at any time during or after the promotion ends.
Can I downgrade from Veeam Management Pack Enterprise Plus to Enterprise?
No. The Veeam Management Pack Enterprise SKU is no longer available.
