What is Veeam Service Provider Console?

Veeam® Service Provider Console is a FREE cloud-enabled platform for Veeam Cloud & Service Providers (VCSP) partners and distributed enterprise environments. By leveraging Veeam cloud gateways, this management console:

  • Enables VCSP partners to streamline the delivery of Veeam-powered services to customers of remote managed services and hosted services (like cloud backup and Disaster Recovery as a Service)
  • Provides distributed enterprises with a way to more easily and efficiently manage the protection of the hybrid cloud and remote offices, as well as the mobile or home workforce

Veeam Service Provider Console console offers simple setup, integration, and self-service features that snap on top of many products in the Veeam Cloud Data Management, making it a natural choice power users of Veeam.

Can Veeam Service Provider Console integrate with other non-Veeam products?
Veeam Service Provider Console is able to integrate with any existing portals, third-party applications and workflows via RESTful API. Alternatively, using the Swagger API framework, service providers can easily visualize, explore and interact with RESTful API.
I use ConnectWise, does it integrate with Veeam Service Provider Console?
Veeam Service Provider Console includes native integrations with ConnectWise Manage and Automate, making it easy for service providers to deliver more value to their customers, while reducing administration by consolidating the monitoring, management and billing of multiple services into a single pane of glass.

Who is the intended audience?
Veeam Service Provider Console is designed for service providers in our Veeam Cloud & Service Provider (VCSP) partner program who want to deliver Veeam-powered managed backup services. Veeam Resellers looking to build a Veeam-powered services business are encouraged to join the VCSP program to gain access to the product.
Are there any requirements?

To use Veeam Service Provider Console, you must first sign up for the Veeam Cloud & Service Provider (VCSP) program. It’s FREE to join and only takes a few minutes to sign up.


How do I obtain a license key?

To unlock these features, you’ll need a NEW Veeam Universal License.

If you currently hold VCSP Rental licenses, simply log in to to download your Veeam Universal License and start using Veeam Service Provider Console.

If you don’t have any keys yet, or just joined the VCSP program, use your automatically pre-generated Veeam Cloud Connect license key (from to unlock all the features of Veeam Service Provider Console.

How do I update this new universal license key?
Review the Updating License section of the Veeam Service Provider Console Administrator Guide. There are easy options to keep your license key updated automatically. 
Does Veeam Service Provider Console report my rental usage of my customer’s Veeam products?

Yes! In Veeam Service Provider Console, you can unlock a single-pane-of-glass view of your rental usage of several Veeam products, including:

  • Veeam Backup & Replication, including cloud-native plug-ins for AWS and Azure
  • Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows, whether managed via Veeam Service Provider Console or Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Veeam Agent for Linux, managed via Veeam Service Provider Console or Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Veeam Agent for Mac, managed via Veeam Service Provider Console or Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 v6 and later releases
  • Veeam ONE
  • Veeam Cloud Connect, including backups and replicas and storage consumption generated by Archive and Capacity Tiers
What is Veeam’s support policy for Veeam Service Provider Console?
As a VCSP partner, you have access to all the technical resources you need to ensure your success. Veeam Service Provider Console includes FREE 24.7.365 technical support, as well as access to the VCSP forum, where you can ask questions and share ideas with fellow service providers and get advice from Veeam product experts.
Can I cut rental license keys for customer workloads within Veeam Service Provider Console?

Yes! Starting at V6, service providers can now generate license keys within Veeam Service Provider Console’s user interface via the VCSP Pulse integration. Licenses can be cut for ANY product supported by Veeam Service Provider Console.

Veeam service providers can extend this capability into the reseller tier, giving resellers and managed service provider partners the autonomy to generate their own rental license keys for their customer workloads.

Who is the intended audience?

Veeam Service Provider Console for the Enterprise is designed for distributed enterprise environments who want to remotely manage and monitor their entire Veeam backup infrastructure from a centralized location, including:

  • Delivering inter-site connectivity to provision and manage the entire Veeam backup infrastructure from a centralized location, without the need for VPN
  • Enabling complete visibility into all Veeam-powered Availability services, whether they’re protecting virtual or physical, on-premises, remote or cloud workloads
  • Easily deploying, managing and monitoring workstation and server-based Veeam Agent installations — regardless of their physical location
Are there any requirements?

Veeam Service Provider Console for the Enterprise relies on Veeam Cloud Connect for the Enterprise to establish a private dedicated network connection. If Veeam Cloud Connect for the Enterprise is a good fit for the customer, it can be provided at no charge, provided that the customer has:

1. Updated to v10 or later of Veeam Availability Suite™ Enterprise Plus or Veeam Availability Suite Veeam Universal License (VUL).

2. Purchased greater than $50,000 NTV of Veeam Availability Suite Enterprise Plus or Veeam Availability Suite VUL.

All other situations must be reviewed and approved on case by case basis.

How do I obtain a license key?

While Veeam Service Provider Console for the Enterprise is a FREE solution, you must contact your Veeam Sales representative to obtain an evaluation (30-day trial) or production license key.

Note: while usage of Veeam Service Provider Console is free, usage for deployment and management of supported paid products requires a Subscription Veeam Universal License.

What is Veeam’s support policy for Veeam Service Provider Console for the Enterprise?
Even though Veeam Service Provider Console for the Enterprise is a FREE product, 24x7 Production support is included.
