Description
Kanister is a data protection workflow management tool. It provides a set of cohesive APIs for defining and curating data operations by abstracting away tedious details around executing data operations on Kubernetes. It's extensible and easy to install, operate and scale.
MongoDB is a cross-platform document-oriented database. Classified as a NoSQL database, MongoDB eschews the traditional table-based relational database structure in favor of JSON-like documents with dynamic schemas, making the integration of data in certain types of applications easier and faster.
Using an extensible and re-usable Kanister Blueprint, you can leverage the MongoDB native mongodump and restore capabilities to protect your cluster.
