Cause

Your HP Cloud credentials should be entered in a specific manner.

Solution

The HP Cloud credentials need to be re-entered using the following instructions:

User-added image

1. Display name - you can use any name, e.g. HP Cloud

2. User name - this consists of two parts: your (Object Storage) Project ID and HP Cloud username, separated by a colon (ProjectID:User_Name). To find your Project ID, please login to HP Cloud and click on the User drop-down and select “Roles and API Endpoints”, your Project ID should be displayed in the Current Roles section:

Your login is the same as you use to access your HP Cloud console. It is also displayed in your Account Info:

3. Api key is for your password. Enter the password you use to login to your console.

4. Authenticication service is for this URL:  https://region-a.geo-1.identity.hpcloudsvc.com:35357/v1.0/
(Copy and Paste this into Authentication Service as shown in the Screenshot above IF it is not pre-filled.)

If you entered everything correctly, you will be able to see containers you've created earlier and create a new one.

NOTE: KB has been updated to reflect recent interface changes with the HP Cloud management website.

More Information

The HP Cloud web interface may only show V2.0 and V3.0 endpoint URLs.  The Authentication URL shown in Step 4 above is required by Veeam Cloud Edition.
