SYDNEY, Australia – October 1, 2013 – Veeam Software Group, innovative provider of backup, replication and virtualisation management solutions for VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V, has been recognised as the specialist vendor of the year, for the second consecutive year, at a glittering awards ceremony to mark the seventh Annual Australian Reseller News IT Industry Awards.
Over the last year, Veeam has continued to invest in nurturing and developing its channel strategy, and seen an increase in local partners from 700 to 959 over the last 12 months. Veeam has also grown the Australian team across the company’s customer support, channel, sales, marketing and finance by 75 per cent.

The finalists of the specialist vendor of the year category included Ruckus Wireless, Schneider Electric, Check Point Software Technologies and Kaseya. The annual ARN IT Industry awards have been running for seven years. This year there were 25 award categories for both partners and vendors.
