Virtual infrastructure performance analysis
Veeam ONE shows comprehensive resource consumption and workload data for hosts, clusters and datastores, with visibility all the way down to the individual VM and the applications running inside it. Find out at a glance which components of your VMware infrastructure are the largest resource consumers and which ESX(i) hosts are the least loaded – right now and over time. View actual cumulative I/O load on a particular datastore to determine whether it is overloaded or can handle more VMs. Drill down into Windows and Linux/Unix VMs, ESX(i) hosts and vCenter Servers to monitor resource usage for specific applications. All these capabilities help you speed up analysis and troubleshooting, and help you discover potential resource bottlenecks for both virtual server and VDI workloads.
Monitoring dashboards
Veeam ONE includes a summary dashboard for each object in the infrastructure tree, giving you both an at-a-glance view of the most useful information for any object and the ability to drill down to more detailed data. There is even a cluster overview dashboard for displaying important health information about clusters and their underlying objects.
Advanced alerting capabilities and built-in intelligence
Veeam ONE offers over 125 pre-defined alarms with best-practices thresholds based on years of experience and advanced analysis. An extensive knowledge base explains each alarm and provides possible causes, suggested resolutions and links to additional information.
With Veeam ONE, you can easily set up email and SNMP notifications for important events, such as when a given number of running VMs is exceeded or host hardware status changes. Being the first to be alerted of such events enables fast administrator response to critical issues and leads to high availability.
Alarm modeling ensures your alarm benchmarks and thresholds are correct by letting you quickly test candidate alarms against past performance data, helping you to prevent inadvertent alert storms and missed events. With Veeam ONE, you get monitoring you can rely on without being overwhelmed with irrelevant alarms.
Storage monitoring
Veeam ONE provides full storage monitoring capabilities, including disk space and datastore monitoring. Built-in storage alarms provide notification of possible capacity issues that might occur if virtual disks grow to configured, over-provisioned limits. You can even view and be alerted on datastore load information aggregated from disk utilization statistics for all VMs and hosts using a particular datastore.
Hardware monitoring
For the most complete picture of your virtual infrastructure, Veeam ONE provides you with ESX(i) host hardware sensor information. This allows your VMware monitoring team to track the status of physical hardware (including ventilation, enclosure, power and other subsystems) directly in Veeam ONE, eliminating the need for service console-based hardware monitoring agents that are not supported on ESX(i) hosts.

It agentlessly gathers all performance information into a Microsoft SQL Server database, allowing users to access infrastructure-wide performance data as needed.
