How to create secure IAM policy for connection to S3 object storage

How to create a secure IAM policy to connect to the S3 bucket that you want to use as an object storage repository in Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 to store backup data.

Follow the instructions from the Creating IAM policies article and use the following JSON to create an IAM policy for connection to an S3 object storage bucket (make sure to replace the <yourbucketname> tag with the actual name of the bucket). These permissions will allow the Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 Service to access the S3 bucket to save/load data to/from an object storage repository.
