Reading, United Kingdom, March 10th 2011 – Veeam Software, innovative provider of VMware data protection, disaster recovery and VMware management solutions, has announced a series of enhancements to its EMEA partner programme. The Veeam ProPartner Programme has been updated to reflect the growing maturity of virtualisation by equipping partners with specialist skills that will enable them to drive greater revenue and margin in the area of virtualisation management. More specifically, ProPartner members will now have access to the new Veeam University, an online education and training programme established to help increase the adoption of virtualisation by giving partners and customers greater confidence in deploying the technology across their IT estates.

From today, Veeam has added a new competency to its ProPartner programme designed to encourage a specialist focus on enterprise-level virtualisation management. The Veeam Enterprise Management System (EMS) ProPartner programme is open only to Gold ProPartners and will give up to 12% additional discount on Veeam nworks Management Pack for Microsoft System Center and Smart Plug-in for HP Operations Manager. These flagship enterprise solutions enable businesses to monitor and manage virtualised estates from their existing Microsoft or HP management consoles.
In order to accelerate the EMS ProPartner competency with nworks, Veeam has established a new online education and training programme, Veeam University. By enrolling one technical engineer and one sales professional to Veeam University, Microsoft or HP certified partners will now be able to gain nworks accreditation. In addition, EMS ProPartners will receive a dedicated Veeam Interface and EMS qualified sales leads.

Under the new enhancements, Gold ProPartners will now have the opportunity to enroll two sales engineers for accreditation via Veeam University and receive up to 8% discount across all Veeam’s software products.
