Joe Marton is Senior Manager, Systems Engineering at Veeam, bringing more than 20 years of experience across the IT industry. Having worked as a customer, reseller, and software vendor, Joe offers a unique perspective on how organizations can strengthen resilience and simplify data protection across complex environments.
His expertise spans virtualization, data resilience, backup and recovery, file analysis, data governance, storage, cybersecurity, high availability, business continuity, disaster recovery, and collaboration. This broad foundation extends beyond storage and virtualization into core infrastructure technologies from Microsoft, Novell, and SUSE.
Before stepping into his current leadership role, Joe served as Senior Systems Engineer at Veeam and North America Collaboration Solution Principal at Micro Focus, where he helped enterprise customers modernize infrastructure and improve operational performance.
A frequent speaker and advocate for community engagement, Joe has presented at events including VeeamON, GMIS GIANTS, BrainStorm, and VMUG. He also enjoys connecting with users through Veeam forums, trade shows, and local user groups.
