Veeam Agent backup job configuration fails with "Xml node is not found. Name: [MaxPointsCount]"


You configure a Veeam Agent backup job targeted at a Veeam Cloud Connect repository. At the Credentials step of the Veeam Agent backup job configuration wizard, the following error appears:

Failed to get Cloud Connect repositories. Failed to retrieve the list of available cloud resources from the service provider. Xml node is not found. Name: [MaxPointsCount]

The issue occurs if you have the following software configuration:
  • Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows 4.0.1797 or later is installed on the backed-up computer.
  • Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5 U4b or earlier is installed on the backup server of the Veeam Cloud Connect service provider.

To resolve the issue, the service provider must upgrade Veeam Backup & Replication to version 10.
