"Internal Server Error" in the Veeam ONE Web Client after upgrade to version 11a

Challenge

When attempting to open the reports in the Veeam ONE Web Client, the following error message pops up and the Infrastructure objects are not listed in the reports scope:

Solution

Option 1: Upgrade to Veeam ONE 12 or higher

This issue is fixed in Veeam ONE 12 and higher, to upgrade download the latest Veeam ONE ISO and follow the Upgrade Guide.

 

Option 2: Apply hotfix to Veeam ONE 11a Database

  1. Make sure you are running Veeam ONE version 11a (build 11.0.1.1880) before installing the hotfix.
  2. Back up the Veeam ONE database.
  3. Download the hotfix SQL Script.
  4. Stop the Veeam ONE Monitoring service (VeeamDCS) and Veeam ONE Reporting service (VeeamRSS).
  5. Apply the hotfix on the Veeam ONE database.
  6. Start Veeam ONE Monitoring service (VeeamDCS) and Veeam ONE Reporting service (VeeamRSS).
  7. Run the Object Properties Collection task in the Veeam ONE Web Client.
