Andy Sturniolo
Andy Sturniolo is a Staff Solutions Architect in Product Management Alliances at Veeam, where he leads technical partnerships across virtualization and cloud platforms. He is the primary hypervisor subject matter expert for VMware and Microsoft technologies, working closely with engineering, product management, and partners to validate, influence, and deliver real-world integrations.
Andy focuses on VMware (vSphere, VMware Cloud Foundation, vSAN, NSX), Microsoft Hyper-V and Azure Local, and cloud platforms including Azure VMware Solution and AWS EVS. His work centers on hands-on testing, architectural guidance, and shaping product direction based on how customers actually deploy and operate these platforms.
With extensive experience in enterprise infrastructure and data protection, Andy brings a practitioner’s mindset to alliance work. He is a frequent technical speaker at VeeamON and VMware Explore, where he presents deep-dive sessions on virtualization, cloud migration, and platform integration.
Prior to Veeam, Andy was a Technical Architect at Owens Corning, leading large-scale VMware deployments supporting global operations, and a Technical Certification Developer at VMware, where he helped design advanced VCP and VCAP certification labs. Based in Ohio, Andy works closely with partners and customers to ensure Veeam solutions are practical, scalable, and production-ready.
