Gaurav Rishi is the Vice President of Product at Veeam, where he leads product strategy and innovation across cloud‑native data protection and cyber resilience. He drives the vision behind modern, Kubernetes‑first solutions that help organizations protect, manage, and recover applications across dynamic, multi‑cloud environments.

With deep expertise in cloud‑native technologies, Kubernetes, AI pipelines, and data protection, Gaurav is a recognized thought leader in the industry. He has been a featured speaker at global events including AWS re:Invent, CNCF KubeCon, Red Hat Summit, VeeamON, and the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC).

Before his current role, Gaurav served as Head of Product at Kasten and previously led Strategy and Product Management for Cisco’s Cloud Media Processing and Security business. He also served as an Advisory Board Member for ClipMine, acquired by Twitch (Amazon), where he contributed to early‑stage innovation and ecosystem growth.

Gaurav’s experience spans product management, leading 0‑to‑1 innovation initiatives, partner and ecosystem development, analyst briefings, and M&A strategy. A computer science graduate with an MBA from the Wharton School, he combines technical depth with strategic vision to bring transformative products to market.
