#1 Backup and Recovery for Linux

As IT organizations look to run more Linux-based workloads in the public cloud, it is important to ensure they are backed up and can be recovered to avoid business disruption. However, backing up and recovering Linux instances is often cumbersome or expensive, requiring manual intervention and consuming an IT administrator’s valuable time.

With Veeam® Agent for Linux, you can ensure the Availability of your Linux workloads with ease, regardless of whether they’re deployed in the public cloud or on premises.

Enhanced Availability for Linux-based workloads

Many organizations must cater to complex hardware configurations or regulatory compliance requirements when providing backup for Linux-based physical servers and cloud workloads. With Veeam Agents for Linux, organizations can replace outdated physical backup tools and deliver comprehensive backup and recovery, which increases performance and reduces cost.

Back up anywhere

  • Get image-based backup of the entire system, back up specific volumes, or protect individual files
  • Schedule multiple Linux backup jobs for more specific recovery point
objectives (RPOs) and different backup configurations1
  • With BTRFS support, you can ensure the comprehensive backup of entire Linux machines that are running on top of this file system
  • Get your backups off site to the cloud with fully integrated, fast and secure backup and restore functionality through a Veeam-powered service provider

Flexible recovery

  • Bare-metal restore: Restore your entire system to the same or different hardware
  • Volume-level restore: Restore an entire volume from your Linux cloud instance or on-premises backup
  • File-level restore: Browse for and restore individual files
