Open-E JovianVHR is a ZFS- and Linux-based software-defined storage solution engineered to maximize the value of Veeam environment, especially for Hardened Repository deployments.

The caching mechanisms provided by ZFS were handled entirely in system memory and on the pool itself: the Adaptive Replacement Cache (ARC) in RAM accelerated reads, while synchronous writes were safeguarded through the ZFS Intent Log (ZIL), which by default resides on the pool’s HDDs. 
The ARC (read cache) was set to 182 GB.
The transaction group buffers (write operations) was set to 7.04 GB.
