Updated Veeam Ready Verification Kits

Welcome updated Veeam Ready categories and more!

Updated verification kits

We are thrilled to announce that all Veeam Ready verification kits have been updated to reflect the changes and the new requirements based on the recently released Veeam Backup and Replication v13. They are published on the Veeam ProPartner Portal and are now available for all new submissions!

Is it mandatory to retest?
We highly recommend that all partners’ solutions be tested with the latest version of Veeam products to better serve our joint customers and benefit from the new functionality and optimizations.

The Veeam Ready submissions qualified for Veeam Backup & Replication v11 and earlier, as well as Veeam Kasten for Kubernetes 6.5 and earlier, will not appear in the default search results on the Veeam Ready online database. To locate these submissions, a special filter will be required to apply.

What’s new?
In addition to Veeam Backup & Replication v13 support, we are happy to announce the following updates:

  • New Veeam Ready categories:
    • “Veeam Ready Repository” becomes “Veeam Ready Repository – Primary Target.”
    • “Veeam Ready Object” becomes “Veeam Ready Repository – Capacity Target.”
  • New sub-category
    • Veeam Ready Security: SSO
  • Rebranding:
    • “Veeam Ready Object, Archive” becomes a separate category, “Veeam Ready Repository – Archive Target.”
    • “Backup Source – Object” is no longer an optional test. The subtest is a part of the core “Veeam Ready Repository – Capacity Target” test.
    • New badges: To ensure that customers receive maximum information at a glance from the Veeam Ready logo, we are introducing product version indicators directly on the Veeam Ready badges.
  • Terminology:
    • We are open to the new terms, such as "Certified for Veeam Ready" instead of "Verified for Veeam Ready" for all published Veeam Ready solutions based on Veeam Backup & Replication v13 tests.

What else is good to know?

  • Veeam Ready Repository verification kits now contain the deployable application to make the testing process even smoother.
Important: it is required to install a private fix to run the Veeam Ready Repository verification. Please contact veeamready@veeam.com to get access to the private fix.
  • The Veeam Ready database is still available on the Veeam Alliance Partner integrations and qualifications page, while the Veeam Technology Alliance Partners page now contains only information about the program.
  • Veeam Ready Appliance – Hardened Repository submissions now require that partners have the Veeam Ready Repository – Primary Target testing completed.
