Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft Entra ID now supports relationship restoration when object identifiers change during the restore process. New object IDs are automatically detected and relationships (such as group memberships and administrative unit links) are re-established without user intervention.

Why This Matters

When objects are restored by recreation instead of from the Recycle Bin, new identifiers may break relationships between complex objects and their members. This enhancement ensures associations are maintained, reducing manual effort and preventing service disruption.
