Veeam Announces 2015 ProPartner Award Winners

Veeam recognises top performing ProPartners in the ANZ Region who are committed to providing customers with the highest levels of support for Veeam Availability Solutions

Sydney, Australia: 19 February, 2016:  Veeam Software, the innovative provider of solutions that deliver Availability for the Always-On Enterprise, today announced the winners of the 2015 Veeam ProPartner Awards at Veeam’s annual ProPartner Conference for the ANZ region in Sydney. As a 100 percent channel organisation, these awards recognise the year’s top performers who have demonstrated success in providing Veeam Availability solutions to their customers with first-class support, expert knowledge, continued product education, and a true Veeam led strategy incorporated into their business.

Furthermore, the record breaking growth experienced by our ProPartners is a direct result of the enhancements we introduced mid last year to our ProPartner Program, new Veeam Cloud Connect capabilities and numerous investments we’ve made to our ProPartner Program.”  

The following Veeam ProPartners were recipients of the 2015 Veeam ProPartner Awards:

  • ProPartner of the Year – ANZ: Datacom Group
  • Distributor of the Year – ANZ: Ingram Micro
  • Rising Star ProPartner of the Year – ANZ: FLEXdata Solutions
  • Enterprise ProPartner of the Year – ANZ: Dimension Data New Zealand
  • Technical Champion of the Year – ANZ: Rhys Hammond, who was previously with Computer Merchants and recently joined Data#3
  • Technical Champion of the Year – ANZ: Scott McGregor from The Somerville Group
  • Cloud and Service Provider of the Year – Australia: Nexon Asia Pacific
  • Cloud and Service Provider of the Year – New Zealand: OneNet

Also announced at the conference was the launch of the Veeam Certified Engineering (VMCE) Program which will now be available in Australia and New Zealand. The program, will be accessible for both end-users and ProPartners and will encompass:

  • Classroom training sessions provided by Veeam Education Centre (VMEC) across the ANZ region.
  • Education and certification for both ProPartners and end-user engineers as Veeam Certified Engineers (VMCE). VMCE certifications are required for Platinum and Gold ProPartners and highly recommended Silver ProPartners.

 

The VMCE program enables the reseller to offer and deliver high quality professional services, further enabling the customer to optimise their investment in Veeam solutions for a much higher ROI and improved SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

The VMCE training will be conducted by Saxons based on Veeam Availability Suite v9 and is the only authorised VMEC in Australia and New Zealand. Saxons has training facilities located in Australian capitals, specifically; Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Saxons will also be introducing VMCE v9 training via an Online Education Management Platform which will provide Veeam partners the opportunity to complete training in a more convenient manner while maintaining work and family commitments.

Courses will be available from the beginning of March onwards and will be made public on the Saxons Learning Solutions Website at http://www.saxonslearning.com.au. Pricing for the course is set as follows:

  • To attend courses on site at a Saxons Training Facility: AU$3,300 ex GST
  • To complete the course via the Online Education Management Platform: AU$3,000 ex GST
