The UK Cyber Security and Resilience Bill is now in the House of Lords, and it raises the bar for how the UK's essential services prove they can withstand and recover from an attack. Energy, water and transport were always in scope. The Bill widens that net — bringing more organisations, including some suppliers, under the same duties — with penalties calculated against turnover.
Myron Hrycyk, former FTSE 100 CDIO, UK Government Crown Representative, now a NED and HMG Commissioner — joins Veeam Global Field CTO Michael Cade and The Register's Tim Phillips to unpack what the Bill demands, and what boards will need to prove about their ability to keep essential services running and recover fast when something goes wrong.
This session is for security, risk and resilience leaders across the UK's critical national infrastructure sectors — and for the suppliers who may be about to find out they're in scope too.
