This article documents how to customize the Welcome emails sent out by Veeam Service Provider Console.

Solution

Requirements and Considerations for Modifying the Welcome Email Template File
To modify the Welcome email template file effectively, proficiency in XML, HTML, and XSLT is essential. While simple text edits are accessible to most, a complete redesign of the email's layout might require expertise in web design to ensure optimal presentation and functionality.
Customizing the Welcome Email:
  1. Download the Welcome email template file from this article.
  2. On the Veeam Service Provider Console server, create a new folder named “Template” for the custom email in this directory:
    C:\Program Files\Veeam\Availability Console\ApplicationServer\
  3. Save the Welcome email template (WelcomeEmail.xslt) file and place it in that “Template” folder.
    C:\Program Files\Veeam\Availability Console\ApplicationServer\Template\
  4. Modify the Welcome email template file as needed.

 

Tip: Changes to the template can be previewed using the Preview welcome email... link in the Notifications section when editing a company.
