Huawei Plug-In - End of Life
The Huawei Plug-In for Veeam Backup & Replication reached End-of-Life on 2022-04-22 and is no longer available.

Requirements

Before installing Huawei Plug-In v1.0.23, ensure that you are running Veeam Backup & Replication 10.0.0.4461 or later. To check the version, open the main menu of the Veeam Backup & Replication console and select Help > About.

Huawei Plug-In v1.0.23 supports integration with the following storage systems:

  • OceanStor V3 and F V3 Series (V300R006 or later)
  • OceanStor V5 and F V5 Series (V500R007 or later)
  • OceanStor Dorado V3 Series (V300R001 or later)
  • OceanStor Dorado V6 Series (6.0 or later)

Huawei Plug-In for Veeam Backup & Replication  1.0.23

This update resolves the most common support issues including the following:

  • Under certain circumstances (high storage load), snapshots could stay mounted on the proxy server after rescan/restore operations. The issue is specific to OceanStor Dorado models.

This update resolves the most common support issues.

Huawei Plug-In for Veeam Backup & Replication 1.0.21 (2020-02-13)

This update features the following enhancements:

  • Support for OceanStor Dorado V6.

Huawei Plug-In for Veeam Backup & Replication 1.0.19 (2019-08-27)

This update resolves the most common support issues including the following:

  • Snapshots created by Timing Snapshot Schedule on Huawei OceanStor Dorado could not be automatically deleted according to retention configured in the storage settings.

Huawei Plug-In for Veeam Backup & Replication 1.0.16 (2019-02-06)

This update features the following enhancements:

  • Support for port binding (iSCSI protocol).
  • This update also resolves the most common support issues.
