Purpose

This article documents releases of the Veeam KubeVirt Proxy (KVP) utilized by the Veeam Plug-In for KubeVirt.

Note: Veeam Plug-In for KubeVirt is also know as Veeam Plug-In for Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization.

  • Updated the ubi10/ubi-minimal package to version 10.2-1790556942 to address CVE-2026-14456, CVE-2026-8458, CVE-2026-74860, and CVE-2026-86140.

Resolved Issues

  • When the ceph-csi-config config map contains more than one entry, backup and restore of VMs on Ceph RBD storage fail to discover the Ceph cluster configuration. For example, this occurs when a cluster-mapping.json entry is included together with config.json.
  • Snapshots are left behind in the cluster when the VolumeSnapshotClass sets deletionPolicy: Retain.
  • Backups of volumes provisioned by the NetApp Trident CSI driver (csi.trident.netapp.io) leave ephemeral volumes in the ONTAP Volume Recovery Queue.
    • This fix requires Trident 25.02 or later, because earlier versions ignore the trident.netapp.io/skipRecoveryQueue: "true" annotation set on the ephemeral PVCs.
