Veeam Backup for Salesforce is currently in private beta, supported and driven by Veeam SEs only. 

Should you have any questions about this product, please, reach out to your Veeam Systems Engineer or Veeam Sales Representative. Please note that Veeam Technical Support is not provided for this private beta release. All feedback and questions should be sent to the Veeam Systems Engineer.

Challenge

You need to reset the password to access Veeam Backup for Salesforce. 

Solution

  1. Connect to the Veeam Backup for Salesforce machine via SSH
  2. Run the script for changing the password at /opt/vbsf/vbsf-ui-back/reset_password.sh

  3. Provide the new password and confirm the password

  4. Once completed, the password has been changed. You can now login to the product UI.
