Veeam Cloud Service Providers Only
This registry value is intended only for Veeam Cloud Service Providers who manage multiple Veeam Backup Servers with a centralized Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager server. Adding this value to an end-user deployment of Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager may violate the requirements of the Veeam Licensing Policy.

Purpose

This article describes how to prevent a Service Provider's Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager from pushing its license to managed Veeam Backup Servers.

Solution

Create the following registry value on the machine where Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager is deployed:

Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup Reporting
Value Name: SkipLicensePush
Value Type: DWORD (32-Bit) Value
Value Data: 1

Note: VeeamEnterpriseManagerSvc service restart required.

PowerShell Registry Value Creation:

New-ItemProperty -Path 'HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup Reporting\' -Name 'SkipLicensePush' -Value "1" -PropertyType DWORD -Force
