This whitepaper is intended for IT administrators and virtual & cloud infrastructure administrators, as well as SAP Basis specialists and Oracle database administrators.
This document describes best practices and SAP backup and recovery instructions with Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5 U4 or later. This also includes Veeam Agent for Linux for performing configuration file backup of SAP systems running Oracle and other “SAP ANYDB,” like MS-SQL or MAXDB.

This guide assumes that you have a good level of knowledge of Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam Agent for Linux, SAP on Oracle and VMware vSphere.
