Anand Eswaran is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Veeam. Anand’s strategic vision, inclusive leadership, and execution focus have created a track record of building and leading high-growth successful global businesses.
Prior to joining Veeam, Anand led RingCentral to accelerating growth and innovation as its President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Prior to RingCentral, Anand was responsible for Microsoft’s Enterprise Commercial and Public Sector business globally. Earlier in his tenure at Microsoft, he led Microsoft Services, Industry & Digital, Customer Care, and Customer Success — a global team of 24,000 professionals.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Anand was the Executive Vice President of the $5.4B Global Services business at SAP, leading 17,000 business process and technology professionals to accelerate customer and partner value creation through SAP’s enterprise applications. He has held multiple other leadership roles, including Vice President of Global Software Services at HP, Vice President of Global Professional Services at Vignette (now OpenText), and Senior Manager at Braun Consulting (now Fair Isaac).
Anand is a founding member of the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) and served on the executive advisory board for 12 years. He holds a master’s degree in computer science and engineering from University of Missouri-Columbia and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Mumbai, India. He is married and has two children.
Matthew Bishop is Veeam’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). He leads Veeam’s digital transformation to automate its customer journey and create operational scale. Matthew manages all Veeam’s operations teams, IT/IS and Security functions, and strategic initiatives.
Matthew was previously the Chief Digital Officer at RingCentral and was responsible for creating and implementing the company’s overall digital strategy — with a focus on using data and insights to enrich and enhance customer and partner engagements to support RingCentral’s growing operational needs.
Prior to joining RingCentral, Matthew spent over 19 years at Microsoft, most recently as Corporate Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Operations of Microsoft’s Worldwide Commercial Business. He was responsible for rapidly identifying opportunities to grow new business and increase usage and adoption around the world. He has led sales teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and received the Microsoft Chairman’s Award from Bill Gates for his sales leadership.
In 2012, Bishop was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by the Queen of England in her Birthday Honours List for his volunteer work in protecting children online.
John Jester is Veeam’s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and is responsible for the company’s go-to-market (GTM) growth strategy and helping build upon Veeam’s position as the #1 provider of Data Resilience, spanning Cloud, Virtual, Physical, Hybrid, SaaS, and Kubernetes.
John joined Veeam from a successful tenure at Google Cloud, where he helped build the GTM organization through his leadership of the Customer Experience function. In this role, he drove cloud adoption and business value for customers, supporting Google Cloud's growth to over $23B ARR.
Prior to Google, John spent 20 years at Microsoft leading sales organizations and reimagining the GTM across the customer lifecycle. His most recent role was Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Customer Success, where he established a new organization to drive adoption of Microsoft's cloud services. Throughout his career, John has worked closely with partners and sees them as integral to crafting solutions for customers.
John earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration from George Mason University.
Dustin Driggs is Veeam’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), leading the global financial function, including strategy and reporting as Veeam continues to gain market share and provide best-in-class secure backup and fast, reliable recovery that keeps businesses running.
Dustin is an accomplished finance leader with more than 30 years’ experience in successfully building and managing large multinational businesses. He joined Veeam from Barracuda Networks, where he worked for over 16 years, most recently as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President leading the finance and accounting function. Prior to Barracuda Networks, he held senior leadership roles at Cisco Systems and PwC.
Dustin earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Loyola Marymount University and a master’s in business administration from Santa Clara University.
Lucy Hur is Veeam’s Chief People Officer (CPO). She is responsible for leading the company’s global people strategy, including talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development, to foster a people-centric and values-based culture that supports Veeam’s growth and success.
Lucy brings 30+ years of experience to the team. Prior to Veeam, she was the Chief People Officer of Slalom and led the people strategy to scale the global operating model — enabling Slalom’s rapid global expansion and nurturing a people-centric culture, which resulted in many global best places to work accolades.
Prior to Slalom, Lucy spent 13 years at Microsoft leading HR for various global businesses: consumer channels, advertising and online, marketing, and the worldwide commercial business. Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership roles with Starbucks and Nokia and was a management consultant at PwC. She started her career at Procter & Gamble.
Lucy has a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Rehan Jalil is Veeam’s President of Security & AI, responsible for advancing the integrated capabilities of Veeam and Securiti AI’s product family.
Veeam acquired Securiti AI in 2025, where Rehan was President and CEO. Rehan previously founded Elastica, which merged with Blue Coat for $280 million. Symantec later acquired the joint company for $ 4.7 billion. He subsequently ran the fastest-growing cloud security business at Symantec. Before that, Rehan was the Founder and CEO of WiChorus, which Tellabs acquired for $180 million. He began his career at Sun Microsystems, where he contributed to the development of the earliest multicore GPUs.
Rehan is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and has earned a master’s degree in science and engineering from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree from NED University.
Allison Cerra is Veeam’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), responsible for ensuring the Veeam brand is synonymous with leadership in Data Resilience and Safe AI at scale. She helps drive our unified story in the marketplace, building trust with analysts, influencers, customers, and partners to accelerate our growth.
Prior to Veeam, Allison served as Chief Marketing Officer at Alkami Technology, where she helped define and scale the company’s brand in the digital banking market. Before Alkami, she was the Chief Marketing Officer at McAfee, leading global marketing, brand strategy, and customer engagement as the company re-established itself following its separation from Intel. Allison has also held marketing leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Alcatel-Lucent, Frontier Communications, and Verizon.
Allison earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and MBA from Southern Methodist University.
Anton Gostev is Veeam’s Chief Product Officer, leading its Research and Development (R&D) and Product Management teams.
With more than 15 years of experience at Veeam, Anton is directly responsible for everything engineering-related at Veeam. He brings trademark dedication and commitment to this role — leading our teams to deliver genuine value for customers while ensuring the future of Veeam and its products are tightly woven into the fabric of our company’s mission and purpose.
Anton started his career as a Support Engineer at Aelita Software before becoming the leader of Veeam’s Product Management organization. As a result of his thought leadership and active participation in various IT Professional industry communities, he is a well-respected face of Veeam R&D for customers and partners.
Niraj Tolia is Veeam’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He leads technology functions and strategic initiatives, focusing on accelerating Veeam's development of Data Resilience solutions and related services. This includes overseeing product development, technical vision, and the integration of new technologies.
Niraj was the co-founder and CEO at Alcion, until it was acquired by Veeam in September 2024. Previously, he was the co-founder and CEO at Kasten, the leading and award-winning Kubernetes backup company that was acquired by Veeam in 2020. Post-acquisition, he continued as General Manager and President of the Veeam Kasten business unit to accelerate the growth of Veeam’s cloud-native business. With a strong technical background in distributed systems, storage, and data management, Niraj previously held leadership roles, including Senior Director of Engineering at Dell EMC and VP of Engineering and Chief Architect at Maginatics (acquired by EMC).
Niraj earned his PhD, master’s, and bachelor’s degrees in computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
Dave Russell is Veeam’s Senior Vice President, Head of Strategy and drives Veeam’s vision for products and services, research, and community engagement programs globally.
A 35-year veteran in the storage industry, Dave joined Veeam in May 2018 as Vice President of Enterprise Strategy. Prior to Veeam, he held the role of Vice President and Distinguished Analyst at Gartner, focusing on storage strategies and technologies, with an emphasis on backup/recovery, and was also the lead author of Magic Quadrant for Data Center Backup & Recovery Solutions from 2005 to 2018.
Before Gartner, Dave spent over 15 years at IBM in Storage Research and Development as a Software Engineer in mainframe backup/recovery and as a manager of Product Development, Architecture, and Strategy teams for distributed systems backup/recovery and storage solutions.
Jennifer Park is Veeam’s Chief of Staff and Vice President of Business Excellence, where she partners with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive strategic cross-company priorities and ensure operational excellence across the business.
Jennifer brings deep expertise in strategy, operations, and business transformation from various leadership roles in enterprise software and consulting. Prior to Veeam, she worked at Genesys, where she shaped global go-to-market strategy for digital and AI solutions. At RingCentral, she drove transformation initiatives to accelerate the adoption of new collaboration technologies. At Splunk, she built and led cross-functional programs to reimagine customer success and support the company’s transition to a SaaS business model. She began her career in management consulting at Accenture, specializing in subscription business transformation and operating model design for leading technology clients.
Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Nate Kurtz is Veeam’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). He leads the Corporate Technology (CT) team and is responsible for Veeam’s global business systems and internal technology.
Nate was previously the leader of the Technology Services team at F5 Networks. He spent more than 10 years at F5 leading the team through a period of significant growth, as well as helping to transform the customer and employee experience and build a team that operated and scaled with a rapidly growing company.
Prior to joining F5, Nate spent over 11 years at Arthur Andersen and KPMG, where he was part of the global technology and telecommunications practices. He led both the sales and delivery teams with many of their high-tech customers, including Microsoft, Amazon, Expedia, and F5 Networks.
Nate started his career in the U.S. Army and was a member of the 2nd Ranger Battalion at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington State. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army’s Ranger and Airborne schools. Nate is also a graduate of the University of Washington and the Foster School of Business.
Brandt Urban is Veeam’s Chief Business Development Officer, responsible for corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and agreements, and corporate strategy, partnering closely with our Product and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to translate strategy into execution.
Brandt has nearly 20 years’ experience in the technology sector across a range of GTM roles. Prior to Veeam, he held global executive roles at Genesys, RingCentral, and Microsoft focused on specialist sales and customer success. Brandt spent 11 years at Microsoft and departed as the General Manager of Dynamics, Microsoft’s $5+ billion suite of line-of-business applications.
Brandt has an MBA in finance and strategy from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree from Mount St. Mary’s University.
Mark Wong is Veeam’s Senior Vice President, Legal and is responsible for overseeing the legal and compliance functions.
Mark brings 20+ years of legal experience focused on technology companies. Prior to Veeam, he served as the SVP General Counsel and Chief of Staff at Parallels and Acronis, where he was responsible for legal, compliance, and corporate development. Prior to this, Mark focused on representing private equity and venture capital clients at Cooley LLP and EAPD Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP.
Mark has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Vermont and a law degree from the University of Wisconsin.
Esther Yoon is Veeam’s SVP, Product Marketing and is responsible for defining and executing Veeam’s overall go-to-market (GTM) strategy, bridging product and commercial goals to drive revenue and market share.
Prior to Veeam, Esther was Vice President of Product and Industry Marketing at RingCentral, where she rebuilt the product marketing operating model to strengthen integrated campaigns, vertical expansion, and AI-led GTM. She previously held Product Marketing leadership roles driving category expansion at Zoom, joining the company and growing with it through the IPO and the pandemic’s rapid expansion. Earlier in her career, she held product marketing roles at Plantronics and high-tech startups.
Esther holds a bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, and accounting from UC Santa Cruz.
Belinda Jurisic is Veeam’s Vice President, Sales Development, and is responsible for leading the global Sales Development Representative (SDR) organization. She oversees the development and execution of a globally aligned strategy that ensures high-quality lead generation, rigorous qualification processes, and consistent pipeline growth across all regions. Her leadership spans SDR enablement, performance optimization, and cross-functional alignment with marketing and sales to drive scalable demand generation.
Belinda joined Veeam in 2017 and has since held several key positions, including Channel Manager for ANZ, Senior Director of Channels for APJ, and most recently, VP of Channel Strategy for APJ. In that role, she was instrumental in shaping partner engagement strategies across Asia Pacific and Japan, aligning channel programs with regional growth objectives.
Prior to joining Veeam, she worked at Citrix and HP in Australia, where she was responsible for the ANZ channel growth strategy.
Tim Pfaelzer is Veeam’s General Manager & Senior Vice President of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). With more than 20 years in the IT industry, he is responsible for the company’s growth and business operations across the region.
Tim has an unwavering commitment to the success of Veeam’s EMEA customers and partners and is passionate about bringing the industry’s broadest set of data protection and ransomware recovery capabilities to organizations so they can build radical resilience against ransomware and loss of critical data.
Before his current role, he was Vice President of Enterprise business in EMEA at Veeam. Prior to Veeam, he held management roles at Dell, Adobe, Autodesk, and Salesforce.
Beni Sia is Veeam’s General Manager & Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan. He is responsible for leading business growth and expansion in the region as Veeam continues to invest and innovate in the Cloud Data Management space.
With more than two decades of experience leading enterprise technology vendors, Beni has extensive expertise in driving growth, transformation, and innovation for customers and partners. Prior to Veeam, he was Vice President of SEA & Korea (SEAK) and led the regional team by maintaining key partner and customer relationships, as well as extending market penetration to drive dominance in key business segments.
Beni was also Vice President, APJ at Service Source, managing the region’s client relationships, process strategy, sales management teams, and the region’s P&L. Other previous roles include sales leadership and management positions at Broadcom, Brocade, Juniper Networks, Dimension Data, and Cabletron Systems.
Shiva Pillay is Veeam’s General Manager & Senior Vice President, Americas, responsible for leading Veeam’s growth and business operations across the region. Shiva has spent more than 15 years in the IT industry, working across various spaces, including data protection, security, SaaS, and automation.
Most recently, he was the Veeam General Manager & Senior Vice President for APJ. During this time, he led inside sales, channels/alliances, pre-sales, and cloud service providers with a focus on driving alignment, high growth, and optimizing performance — later taking on all responsibility for the region. Prior to Veeam, he held senior leadership positions at RSA, EMC, The SCE Group, Prevalent Inc., and SevOne. Shiva also currently serves as an advisor for several start-up organizations in the U.S.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wollongong.
Ramesh is Veeam’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Professional Services and leads our global teams ensuring enterprise customers maximize the value of Veeam solutions. Through strategic guidance, he and his team advise customers on how to build long-term data resilience.
Ramesh has more than 25 years of experience in the enterprise software industry and has had a long and successful career with companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, SAP, and Hewlett-Packard.
During that time, he built and mentored global high-performance Professional Services teams and led large services transformation initiatives. Some of his key accomplishments include leading the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework, which helped customers accelerate outcomes at Amazon; creating a new Digital Advisory Services team to enable digital transformation and drive a program of change with enterprise customers at Microsoft; and building an innovation services team at SAP to help customers migrate to HANA.
Ramesh has a master’s degree in business administration from Santa Clara University.
Gopitha Tharmalingam is Veeam’s Senior Vice President, Finance. She leads the company’s global finance team, driving strategic financial planning focused on enterprise value creation, growth, M&A, and an AI-led transformation.
Prior to Veeam, Gopitha held senior finance leadership roles with a track record of building scale and financial excellence at disruptive and category-creating technology companies such as Adobe, VMware, Tesla, Workday, Cisco Systems, E&Y, and PwC. Most recently, she spent six years at Adobe, as the Vice President of Global Enterprise Sales & Finance, successfully leading a $9 billion division and helping optimize cross-functional growth initiatives and drive strategic data-driven decision-making, while transforming the finance function.
Gopitha holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting from the University of Waterloo and is an inactive member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada.
Bill Siegel is CEO of Coveware by Veeam, which focuses on helping businesses recover from cyber extortion events with transparency, efficiency, and integrity.
Prior to Coveware, Bill was CFO of SecurityScorecard, where he was responsible for finance, operations, and customer success teams. He was also Head of Nasdaq Private Market, CEO of Secondmarket, SVP of Corporate Finance at The Receivables Exchange, and Vice President of Equity Research at MD Sass.
Bill has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
Tony Colon is Veeam’s Chief Customer Officer leading the Renewals, Customer Success and Technical Support, and Professional Services teams. He oversees the entire customer journey, ensuring every customer interaction delivers a high-value experience.
Tony brings 20+ years of experience leading global customer-facing organizations. Prior to Veeam, he helped scale ServiceNow’s Customer Success organization from $100M to $1B and drive similar transformations at Cisco and Salesforce.
Tony has a master’s degree from MIT Sloan School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from Illinois Institute of Technology.
Olivier Marie is Veeam’s Chief Accounting Officer, leading our global accounting, revenue, and shared services functions.
Olivier is a seasoned accounting leader who has more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry across businesses of various scales. He most recently served as the Chief Accounting Officer & Treasurer at Upwork, where he oversaw a broad scope and led a team of 100 professionals. Prior to Upwork, he spent nearly two decades at eBay and later served as Global Controller for the StubHub spinout. Olivier started his career at PwC.
Olivier has a master’s degree in finance and accounting from KEDGE Business School.
Gil Vega is Veeam’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He is responsible for establishing and executing Veeam’s vision and strategy to ensure its information assets and solutions are adequately protected, while driving strategies to help customers protect their critical data across multiple environments and ensure regulatory compliance.
With more than 20 years of experience, Gil is widely respected as an expert in cybersecurity operations, digital security and technology risk management in highly regulated environments. Before joining Veeam, Gil was Managing Director & CISO for CME Group, the world’s leading exchange operator. Prior to his career in financial services, Gil was a member of the U.S. federal government’s Senior Executive Service and served as the Associate Chief Information Officer & CISO for the U.S. Department of Energy and as CISO for U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement in Washington, DC.
Gil holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Information Systems & Information Assurance, is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute in Charlottesville, and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having participated in combat operations in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
Scott Jackson is Veeam’s Senior Vice President, Revenue Intelligence, where he leads sales and renewals operations, marketing operations, data science, data quality, and reporting. His leadership is key to Veeam’s momentum in predictive and prescriptive AI and analytics.
With over 25 years in the technology industry, Scott has scaled two businesses to over $1 billion in annual revenue and driven double-digit growth across large product portfolios. His experience spans SaaS, hardware, and eCommerce, with impact at global enterprises like Microsoft and high-growth startups like Instacart.
At Instacart, Scott led Business Development, building teams that optimized retailer outcomes across enterprise and fulfillment platforms, as well as establishing a Customer Success function. At Microsoft, he held roles from Product Marketing Manager to General Manager of Customer Success, consistently delivering strong results.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Vaibhav Kamra is Veeam’s Senior Vice President, Engineering, leading global engineering teams responsible for building and operating the Veeam Data Cloud.
Before joining Veeam, Vaibhav served as Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Kasten and Alcion, both acquired by Veeam for their innovation in cloud-native data protection. He previously held the role of Director of Engineering at EMC, where he led the development of CloudBoost, a product focused on cloud data protection. Earlier in his career, he was a founding engineer at Maginatics, contributing to distributed filesystem technologies, and began his professional journey at Microsoft, working on the SQL Server storage engine.
Vaibhav holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
Alexander Shirmanov is Veeam’s Senior Vice President, Research & Development and is responsible for Veeam’s VDP portfolio, overseeing global R&D hubs and ensuring consistent engineering standards, application security, and operational excellence. In addition to his global role, he also serves as the Director of Veeam Armenia.
Alexander is an experienced technology and business leader and has been with Veeam for more than 13 years, starting as an R&D Director. Prior to joining Veeam, he was R&D Director at Quest Software and Group Project Manager at Aelita Software. His expertise spans managing large engineering organizations and developing products for Windows Management, Active Directory, and Exchange in both physical and virtual environments.
Alexander holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Systems and Networks and an MBA.
Alexander Baranov is Veeam’s Senior Vice President and Chief Architect and manages the development of the company's on-premises products.
Alexander has been with Veeam for more than 17 years and has held various roles, including Senior R&D Director and Project Manager. Under his leadership, Veeam developed products for backing up virtual data centers, physical, and cloud environments. Together, these are known as the Veeam Data Platform (VDP).
Prior to Veeam, Alexander was Project Technical Leader at Quest Software, where he provided technical leadership on Microsoft Exchange infrastructure migration projects.
He holds a master’s degree in applied mathematics from Saint-Petersburg State Electrotechnical University.
