When exporting log files, the following error occurs:
"Cannot access collector [collector_name]".
If the nworks Enterprise Manager server is installed on Win2k8, then this behavior is caused by UAC on guest OS.
Apart from disabling UAC, there are a few more possible solutions:
If the EMS, the UI, and the browser are on the same machine then run the browser “Run as administrator”, manually type the address and port in the address line. This way UAC is bypassed.
The issue may be presented on W2K3 installations of nworks v5.5. If so, this is a known issue with nworks v5.5, which has been resolved in v5.6.
