High CPU Utilization for Veeam ONE SQL Database

When using the included Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition instance to host the Veeam ONE database, a portion of the total CPU cores available to the system have a disproportionality high CPU utilization.

This behavior is caused by the "Maximum compute capacity used by a single instance" limitation of the Express Edition, which is "Limited to lesser of 1 socket or 4 cores."

This behavior is expected based on the limitations of the Microsoft SQL Server edition.

If this limitation impacts performance, consider changing which edition of Microsoft SQL Server is used by upgrading the local instance or relocating the Veeam ONE database to a dedicated and licensed SQL server.
