Click to Tweet: Veeam announces the 2011 ProPartner of the Year award winners for APAC!
SYDNEY, Australia - 9, July 2012—Veeam Software Group, innovative provider of backup, replication and virtualisation management solutions for VMware vSphere and Windows Server Hyper-V, today announced its APAC ProPartner Award winners for 2011. The winners are Global Technology Integrator Limited, Data #3, ZettaGrid, Climb Inc, BEarena, Antarius IS Pte Ltd and Oriel Technologies.

The Veeam ProPartner winners were selected from were open to more than 232 partners across Asia and 800 partners across Australia and New Zealand. The winners of each category were chosen on the basis of outstanding growth and leadership within their markets, recognising excellence in revenue performance for the 2011 financial year.
The Growth ProPartner of the Year Asia award is given to the business which showed the most dramatic increase in Veeam revenue and growth as a percentage of their business. For 2011, the winner of this award in Asia is Global Technology Integrator Limited (GTI). GTI has been a Veeam Gold partner since 2010. Veeam is an integral part of their overall product strategy and Veeam has served as a trusted solution provider that has helped GTI achieve strong market share in a competitive environment like Hong Kong, where customers are IT savvy and knowledgeable. In ANZ the Growth ProPartner of the Year award was won by Data #3. Data #3 ensures its solutions enable business and technology success for its customers through a framework that unites market leading expertise and technologies.
The Cloud Provider ProPartner of the Year was won by ZettaGrid. ZettaGrid is one of Australia’s leading Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) providers, which uses an automated version of Veeam’s Backup & Replication tools to ensure the integrity of its customers’ data across virtual servers, data centers, desktops and hosted storage solutions.
The Reseller ProPartner of the Year Asia is Climb Inc. Climb Inc has been a Veeam Gold partner since 2009. Climb Inc used Veeam’s superior product features, as well as localised support services and collateral for non-English speaking customers, to grow their own and Veeam’s revenue. In ANZ, BEarena won the Reseller ProPartner of the Year award. BEarena uses Veeam’s Backup & Replication to meet its customers’ requirements for virtualisation-centric backup architecture. The company demonstrated strength in FY11, already having won the Veeam Rookie ProPartner award in 2010.
The Rookie ProPartner of the Year award was open to new partners who accelerated their growth with Veeam. This year, the award in Asia was won by Antarius IS Pte Ltd. Antarius has enjoyed Silver partner status with Veeam since 2011. Veeam enabled Antarius to develop a price structure to best address the concerns of SMBs and Mid Size customers, who need both cost effective and also feature rich solutions. In A/NZ, Oriel Technologies took out the award.
This year also marked the inaugural Veeam ProPartner regional awards, introduced to recognise the growth efforts of region specific resellers. The Growth ProPartner of the year for Victoria was Blue Connections; South Australia was won by Comunet; Western Australia by Anittel; and New Zealand was awarded to Business Technology Group.
