5 Azure Backup Tips: What’s New in Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure v2 video

Microsoft Azure provides a reliable cloud computing platform for agile and scalable building, testing and deployment of modern apps. While Microsoft assumes responsibility for the infrastructure, their Shared Responsibility Model makes it clear that it is still your data and you retain the responsibility to secure and protect it.

The newly released Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure v2 is packed full of capabilities to help natively protect Microsoft Azure workloads. This solution now enables fully automated native snapshotting and backups of Microsoft Azure virtual machines (VMs), including offloading those to Azure Blob Storage for greater cost efficiency in the cloud. With v2, for those with hybrid environments protected by Veeam, this appliance can now be deployed and managed directly from Veeam Backup & Replication.

Join Veeam’s experts David Hill and Sam Nicholls on this webinar to learn more about how to leverage cloud backup best practices with this new and improved solution from Veeam, including:

  • What is Azure‑native and why?
  • How to actualize savings in Azure
  • Why automation is essential
  • How to effectively manage hybrid environments
  • What’s new in the latest release
