Veeam Software, innovative provider of backup, replication and virtualisation management solutions for VMware vSphere and Windows Server Hyper-V, today announced two new members of its UK & Ireland team: Alex Ball has been appointed as Veeam’s Regional Manager, UK and Ireland, while Taisha Betz joins Veeam as Channel Manager for the UK and Ireland. Both have extensive experience in the IT industry, providing the perfect background to support Veeam in consolidating and expanding its growing influence in the UK & Ireland virtual infrastructure market and beyond.
Alex Ball joins Veeam following international roles in technology companies, including Blue Coat, AppSense and Microsoft. As UK & Ireland Regional Manager, Alex will be responsible for building successful sales teams and channels: a task he has successfully performed across the UK, US and EMEA.
Taisha Betz brings channel and software experience from her previous roles at Avnet and Microsoft. Among Taisha’s past achievements are developing the Value Added distribution strategy at Avnet, focusing on Windows Server and Systems Center. In leading Veeam’s UK & Ireland channel alliances program, Taisha will aim to develop further such strategies for Veeam’s partners as well as expand the partner base for Veeam’s Cloud Provider Programme.
Both Alex and Taisha will be part of the Veeam On Tour roadshow, from April 23rd – 25th. Taking place in London, Manchester and Edinburgh the roadshow will allow organisations to learn more about Veeam’s solutions and the benefits of modern data protection.
