Veeam Software, innovative provider of data protection, disaster recovery and management solutions for virtual data centre environments, today announced record growth for the Asia Pacific region last financial year. Veeam experienced substantial increases in sales throughout, with Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan taking the lead as the countries with the fastest uptake. Cumulatively, Veeam‟s presence in Asia has seen 2010 to 2011 Year on Year revenue increase by 294%. In 2012, YOY revenue is expected to increase again by more than 100%.
Key to accommodating this growth and the increase in demand for virtualization management technology, is Veeam‟s new Asian partners and distributors. As a 100% channel driven business, to better service its customers and partners, Veeam has been expanding operations by appointing strategic distributors across the region. Veeam has added Ingram Micro in both Singapore and India, and in Hong Kong, SIS and Quasicom. Additionally, Veeam‟s partner base has matured from 132 ProPartners at the beginning of 2011 to a current total over 300 across Asia.
