VeeamON 2017 will take place in a special location. New Orleans is a unique blend of cultures that has so much to offer. I hope you’ll plan your agenda in such a way that you’ll have the chance to enjoy the Big Easy. Today, I will share with you several attractions that will definitely make your stay in New Orleans unforgettable.

Discover

When in New Orleans, the first thing to visit to fully experience this city is the French Quarter, the oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. The French Quarter is a National Historic Landmark where you can enjoy the eclectic architecture of New Orleans and try the local cuisine at some of the city’s famous restaurants. The Quarter is also known for very active nightlife and bars, ideal for having fun after you relish Availability at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, which, by the way, is in the immediate vicinity of the French Quarter.

Engage

Celebration is the word that best describes this vivid city. New Orleans lives through its music and art — that’s why you should visit Jackson Square in the heart of the French Quarter. The square is situated on the Mississippi riverfront very close to the conference venue, and it is surrounded by historic buildings, including the famous St. Louis Cathedral and the Presbytere and Cabildo (Louisiana State Museums). Here you will meet street artists performing live music, caricatures and portraits artists, blend in with the locals and engage in the spirit of New Orleans.

Innovate

Innovate is one of our favorite words at Veeam because we love trying new things and not only at work. While in New Orleans, you can take the New Orleans Original Cocktail Walking Tour, which departs from the French Quarter. In this fun and informative (and interactive!) tour, you will visit some of the oldest restaurants and bars in town to experience the spirited side of the city, as well as its fine dining and drinking history.
