Challenge
The Foundation VM of Nutanix Mine with Veeam 3.0 uses Ubuntu 16.04. Ubuntu 16.04 has reached the end of "Standard Support," and some customers may wish to upgrade the OS.
Solution
The Foundation VM's Ubuntu OS can be upgraded only with the help of Veeam Support.
Please, do not attempt to upgrade the underlying Ubuntu OS on your own. There are compatible Nutanix Mine with Veeam software packages that must be installed.
