Veeam Software, innovative provider of backup, replication and virtualization management solutions for Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere , today announced that Veeam executives will speak at TechEd 2013, June 3-6 in New Orleans. In addition, Veeam will be demoing at its booth (#1001) Veeam Backup & Replication v7, featuring Built-in WAN Acceleration and Backup from Storage Snapshots plus more than 50 additional new features including native tape support. Veeam Backup & Replication v7 will be generally available in Q3. Visitors to the Veeam booth can enter to win an ultimate storage system. The drawing will be held on June 6th at the Veeam booth.

WHAT: Having a complete backup strategy is critical. This conceptual session will provide best practices and tips so IT can always recover, no matter what happens. WHO: Doug Hazelman, VP, Product Strategy , Veeam and Mike Resseler, EMEA Microsoft Evangelist, Veeam WHEN: Monday, June 3 at 4:45 P.M.
WHAT: The System Center 2012 suite can be used for more than Hyper-V management alone. In this session, attendees will learn what the suite can do for non-Microsoft hypervisors and provide scenarios that attendees can use in their own environments. WHO: Mike Resseler, EMEA Microsoft Evangelist, Veeam WHEN: Tuesday, June 4 at 8:30 A.M.
WHAT: This session will go in-depth about using Microsoft System Center – Operations Manager to monitor environments that have mixed virtualization platforms. The speakers will demonstrate how to dissect the Management Packs so attendees can understand exactly what to monitor and how to interpret alerts.
